How we source our ingredients

At Nutra Essentia, quality begins with who we choose to work with. We source our raw materials exclusively from suppliers holding internationally recognised certifications. Our primary supplier is Xi’an Tian Guangyuan Biotech Co., Ltd. (TGY BIO), a specialist plant extract manufacturer based in Xi’an, China.

FSSC 22000 — Food Safety System Certification

Certificate No: CN25/00001880 | Issued by: SGS United Kingdom Ltd, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire | Valid until: 12 March 2028. Covers production of plant extracts (powder, tablets, hard capsules) used as dietary supplements.

SGS cGMP Certification (21 CFR Part 111)

Certificate No: CN25/00001109 | Issued by: SGS Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd. | Valid until: 23 February 2026. Confirms compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practice for dietary supplements.

HACCP System Certificate

Certificate No: 001HACCP2301111 | Issued by: China Quality Certification Centre (CQC) | Valid until: 20 December 2026.

ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System

Batch Documentation

Each batch is accompanied by a supplier Certificate of Analysis (COA) covering assay results, heavy metal screening, microbiological testing and active ingredient identification. COAs are available to wholesale customers on request.

We do not currently commission independent third-party batch testing and are transparent about this. We are actively working towards establishing an independent testing programme.

UK Legal Compliance

All products are formulated and labelled in compliance with The Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003, Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 on nutrition and health claims (retained in UK law), and The Food Safety Act 1990. We do not make medicinal claims.
